Initial production costs, including the artist’s pay, are covered when a book is crowdfunded. Sometimes this can change lives.

Here are some frequently asked questions:

Your Order

In our experience, the short answer is yes.

We ship via USPS Media Mail. Once we hand over your package to USPS, we are not liable for any loss or damage. We recommend adding insurance during checkout to safeguard your order, particularly if you reside in a dense or overworked postal area. We do not provide replacements for misplaced packages. Please be aware that insurance does not cover errors in the provided shipping information. Occasionally, packages may experience delays and show a pre-shipment or in-transit status on the tracking page.

If you did not purchase shipping insurance, kindly contact USPS Missing Mail Claim directly.

We promptly process and ship orders of active titles or print-on-demand editions within a day or two. We use USPS Media Mail in the US, which takes 2-10 days. International orders go through USPS Priority Mail International, with delivery in 15 to 21 days or longer, depending on customs. Tracking codes are provided via email.

Please note that expedited shipping and next-day delivery are no longer available. Contact us to inquire about alternative services or special arrangements for large orders.

If you ordered a book “in progress,” that means the title is currently in the funding stage. The funding period lasts a season to ensure ample time for creation and promotion. Once fully funded, we begin the printing and shipping process, which varies in time. Your order is in good hands. We will contact you upon receiving the inventory to confirm or update your shipping address before mailing it to you.

You can cancel your pledge if the book is not yet fully funded and receive a 100% refund. No questions asked. You can support another book or switch to an active title. Contact us, and we’ll take care of it for you. Refunds are no longer available once the title is funded and the printing process has started.

You can request a refund for any reason within 30 days of receiving the book. Once we receive the book back in its original condition, we will issue a refund to your original payment method. Please note that the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. Generate a return label here.

Yes, your information is encrypted with an SSL certificate for secure transmission. We use Stripe and PayPal to process payments, ensuring that we do not have access to or store any credit card information. If you choose to subscribe to our mailing lists or programs, you can safely unsubscribe at any time. We do not rent, sell, or otherwise share your information with anybody under any circumstances.

Our Books

Our books are crafted with high-quality, eco-friendly materials. The covers are durable and embossed, while the pages are sewn for added durability. We take pride in creating art books built to last for years.
Additionally, we offer cost-effective options, including paperbacks and print-on-demand options made within industry standards, to ensure affordability and remain competitive.

Environmental consciousness is important to us. As a manufacture-on-demand company, we produce units as they’re ordered, which reduces excess production. We also maintain a commitment to recycling waste materials resulting from the printing process and from daily office operations, and we will continue to review our practices to ensure we are doing our part to protect the environment.

We are dedicated, passionate, and hardworking and our business model is as lean as possible. Needless to say, we incur significant expenses beyond the costs of operating this company and producing and selling books.

When the time comes, we will open up donation opportunities exclusively for the communities we visit on a per-need basis.
